Description
Improve your winter driving skills by completing driving exercises on an ice covered skid track. The course is suitable for beginners and experienced winter drivers. This one day course covers preparing your vehicle and yourself for winter driving. Common winter driving challenges are also covered, including how different vehicles react to snow and ice. Winter driving techniques are explained in the classroom and then skill building exercises are practiced on a skid track. Prerequisites include: Participants require their own vehicle for practical exercises (studded tires are not permitted). Students must hold a valid Class 5 drivers license. Class 7 driver's license also permitted, but students must be able to drive out to site to participate in the practical portion of the training.
